Stratford Country Club Wedding: Katie & Josh's Perfect August Wedding

Last August, I was honoured to capture all the beautiful moments that made up Katie and Josh's wedding day. It was a wonderful day full of love and laughter from start to finish.

Getting Ready

Katie and Josh got ready separately but both of them did some last minute touch ups at Stratford Country Club before the ceremony. It was so fun to get to see both the bride and groom separately for a few brief moments before they saw each other.

The First Look

I'm a big fan of the bride and groom doing a "first look" before the ceremony. Why do I love it? Because it allows for an intimate, private moment for the bride and groom that is special and just for the two of them. Not to mention, its an awesome photo op! Katie and Josh's first look was exactly what I always hope for - raw, authentic, and full of emotion.

The Ceremony

The ceremony space at Stratford Country Club is absolutely stunning! The beautiful outdoor garden overlooking the golf course was a lovely backdrop for Katie and Josh to say their vows. Even though the weather looked ominous, the rain held off long enough for the perfect fairytale wedding ceremony.

Wedding Party and Family Photos

This group of guys and gals were so much fun to photograph. It was a pretty chilly day for August, but everyone was totally okay with braving the cold for some great shots.

Lovebirds

Katie and Josh brought so much joy and laughter to their couple's photos! These two are just the cutest couple and their love really comes through in every photo. We took a walk around some of the best photo spots on the property at Stratford Country Club and had a blast the entire time!

The Gorgeous Stratford Country Club

Stratford Country Club is such a beautiful venue, and Katie and Josh really made it their own with their beautiful florals and decor. The sunflowers looked stunning in the space, and little unique and personalized touches really made this wedding memorable.

Party Time!

It was time for dinner, speeches, and dancing all night long! Once the formalities are over, its time to celebrate and this is when the bride and groom and all of their family and friends can really let loose. Here's a few of my favourite moments from Katie and Josh's wedding reception.

Newlyweds at Sunset

We decided to take an impromptu trip outside at sunset to just grab a couple final photos of Katie and Josh with the beautiful golden hour light. Totally worth it!
